St. Michael’s is the Church of England Parish Church in the heart of Middlewich, a thriving town with a strong sense of Community. Come to one of our many services, or drop in at Number 28, our Parish Centre, and experience the warm, friendly welcome waiting just for you, whether you are passing through or moving to the area.
St Michael & All Angel's Church takes its duty and obligation to protect all extremely seriously. We have adopted the national Church of England's robust procedures and guidelines. You can find out more about the national policies and procedures at www.churchofengland.org/safeguarding.
If you have any safeguarding concerns or issues of a safeguarding matter then you can find useful contact information at
All parishes are required to participate in a Past Cases Review, commissioned by the Church of England. PCR2, as it is known nationally, is part of the Church's ongoing scrutiny of its handling of past and current safeguarding cases. An Independent Reviewer will be looking at files relating to church officers in this parish, both lay and ordained, past and present.
Individuals who wish to make representations to the PCR2 process, or who need to come forward with information or make any disclosures, are encouraged to make direct contact with the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser. However, recognising that this may not feel safe for those with a lived experience of abuse from within the Church, a dedicated telephone helpline -0800 80 20 20 - operated independently from the Church, by the NSPCC, has been set up.

St Michael’s Church Charities
We are pleased to say that we have a good number of people signed up to run this half marathon (being organized in partnership with Run Middlewich).
There will be a Church team running (led by Katy Drew). If you would like to sponsor
them, please do so by either:
a) Visiting the donate page on the Church website and clicking the “Charities” button
b) You can give cash/cheques to Simon Drew (Rector) or Beth Deakin (Administrator)
All the proceeds will be divided equally between our four charities : St Luke’s Hospice,
Save the Family, ABC Link (Congo) and The Christian Service Unit (India).
Also, we need stewards to help around the Church yard and on the running route during the morning of 27th June. The run begins at 9am so we would need stewards to be available from 8.30am through to 12 noon (there is a little bit of variation on this depending on the role). If you are willing to offer your support as a steward, please
contact Beth Deakin on 01606 738005 and we will get back to you to discuss things
